It’s the end of the day, it feels like the end of the world!
The doors to the bar opens, outside the station lies in ruin, buildings crumbled to nothing more than brick and mortar. A firefight roars in the heavens, the sound is almost deafening, how did we miss this from inside!?
Our new friends paid us to smuggle them off world, regardless of who they were or where they came from, we should leave the station ASAP!
We headed to the upper city to commandeer a starship. The city is destroyed, a Gallaway Star Cruiser has crashed into the Outpost, a thick black smog was flooded the streets as we make for higher ground.
Reaching the upper city was easy, we found a port at the end of the street but this is where it gets harder. The street is filled with pirates and soldiers alike, certain death awaits us if we rush in head first, we need a plan!
No time had passed when we arrived on the block when we saw two escape pods spiraling past us, our strange new benefactors went to investigate telling to go precure a ship.
Ahead of us was five houses before we would reach the port, so we set off as quickly as possible! It was an uneventful stroll past the first yard, the second however help a lot more turmoil: We heard a group of pirates coming our way so we hid in the house, with the city in chaos it was easy to break in… the door was unlocked.
It didn’t take the pirates long to figure out we were inside, but we were ready for them! Killing them quickly we had a look around the house for anything that might be of use to us, we decided to that one of the couches with us after it saved V and Dax’s lives during the firefight.
We passed but the third yard, taking out the outside guards as not to alert more enemies to our location. The rest was pretty easy: We jumped the hedges, cutting them down where needed, and scaled the wall on the far side using bedsheets and curtains, bringing the couch with us all the way.
We made it! There was no sign of our new friends (who’s names we failed to obtain) but for now we’ll focus on stealing a ship! This brought us to the top floor, there were several choices… we took the silver yacht as is was the least conspicuous colour there was.
Onboard we met a young boy (16 ish?) fiddling with the control panel, short of killing him our friends turned up introducing themselves as Llu and Fury. We set off as fast as we could toward the first planet we found.
